Crossroads

I've come to a crossroads with my relationship with my Father. After another long conversation with him and much soul searching I have decided what it is I am going to do.
I am going to suck it up and deal, in so many words. If I want any type of relationship with the man, I have to get over myself and forgive and forget a lot of things. This is a very hard thing for me to do, but I am going to work on it and see where that takes me. I guess I can't be any worse off than I already am.

Easter 2009

Easter was absolutely wonderful this year. We took the kids to an Easter egg hunt in Germantown and then we had a nice dinner with everyone on Saturday. The weather wasn't that great, but we made the most of it.
Sunday was great. We had 12 people over for Easter dinner and it went very well. Although I cooked all day and didn't really get to sit much, I had a wonderful time. The kids all enjoyed having Granny and Papa around, and you can't beat that.
